Biography

Hi, I'm Daniel, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo under the mentorship of Prof. Nobuyuki Umetani and Prof. Toshiya Hachisuka. Before that, I was a reseacher at the Czech Technical University, where I've received a Ph.D. degree advised by Prof. Jiří Bittner. I'm fascinated all about ray tracing based rendering including real-time ray tracing, acceleration data structures, and global illumination.
